Jewelry Care

Sterling Silver:

 Prevent tarnish (you know...an ounce of prevention...)

•   The more you wear Sterling, the less you have to clean it
•   Put your jewelry on LAST!  (after hair spray, perfumes, etc.)
•   Wipe residual fingerprints, oils, lotions, hair care products off with soft  or polishing cloth
•   Store with tarnish resistant cloth or papers in ziploc bags 

 

Cleaning:

•   DON'T dip in chemical cleaners (Acids etch metal)
•   DON'T use abrasive cleaners
•   Wipe with soft cloth or polishing cloth
•   Water-bath method [click here] is safe for most silver with stones (including pearls)

Pearls:

• PLEASE wipe pearls off with soft cloth after every wear.  They will appreciate it and look all the better for it.
